WHAT SHOULD YOU FEED YOUR CHILDREN?

Being the first person up, I also prepare breakfast for the family once in a while before I hit the road. Special requests are always welcome, usually from the kids. I maybe square when it comes to my nutrition but I’m not so strict and preachy when it comes to my family. I just won’t deprive them especially their tastebuds of the norm. I don’t care much about a lot of people nowadays pushing their agenda(organic, gluten free, cruelty free, locally sourced, diet restrictions, etc.). I believe that at the end of the day, the throne would favor the accessible and cheap. There’s no way I would be able to make my kids bulletproof to what these agenda driven cults perceived as junk food especially when they begin to set their own sails. All I can do is make them immune with a better template of what’s nutritious and healthy regardless of the source and eating consciously coupled with properly guided physical activities. I admit, my grilled cheese sandwich is dirty, with butter as the secret ingredient and not the cheese itself. More butter just makes it taste golden. With that, I also admit that I don’t feed my kids grilled cheese sandwich everyday but with well chosen and planned meals majority of the time. On top of that, we allow them to roam around and play until their heart explodes to release their excess energy rather than put that flat electronic rectangular box in front of their faces to shut them up.
