Sissy Squat on Leg Press Machine: This is a sissy squat variation I like to do in the absence of a hack squat machine. I set myself with only my upper back(scapula region) against the back rest, my hips raised to neutral as much as possible. Feet tip toeing positioned at the bottom of the platform. With tight core and hips, I slowly descend aiming to bring my heels towards my glutes and back again. I say this exercise is a little bit tricky so be cautious, but once mastered (‘still working on myself), you got your self some happy quads.
