Latissimus Dorsi Pulldown: A staple back exercise for width. This exercise compliments the standard pull-ups with greater degree of control as to resistance. With varying tempo and resistance, this routine can be used as a primer or finisher to a workout session or be part of the main workout itself. Key points to remember: Keep a tight/stable torso; Focus on the elbows going down and back instead of the hands; Work the full range stressing the concentric pause, eccentric contraction and eccentric pause.
