ELDERLY/PWD HOME EXERCISES PROGRAM: DAY NINE-BACK

     I know you’re home, afraid and uncomfortable with all the things that is happening all over us. As hard as it is to accept the repercussions of this virus on all levels, let’s use this experience instead to learn more about ourselves because we are going to need better versions of us when all of this is over.

     Here are some simple back exercises for today. All you need is some sheets and a sturdy area in your home to hang it. Be well and keep safe! Kilos!

 

     We suggest guidance and assistance from family members and caregivers for clarity and safety.

     Home exercises will be muscle group specific on each upload to allow recovery of other areas. Key is to choose 4-5 exercises at random for a specific muscle group and perform them to tolerance level as to sets, repetitions and pauses. Be mindful of the form, stabilization and make sure to engage the muscle you are working on.
