How many sessions are we allowed to have?

For therapy patients with existing MD orders. You can schedule a minimum of one session for therapy evaluation to a maximum of one PERIOD* at a time to reserve for availability of the space and the therapist of your choosing. We will require MD follow-up order every period if therapy sessions are to continue. We will only allow a maximum of 3 periods per ENCOUNTER*. After which, cases will be considered chronic/long term/maintenance status, patients will then be deemed as discharged from therapy services given that they have good follow-through at home with or without care provider assistance. Patients who are stable and independent* but requires maintenance may also enroll in our ‘MAINTENANCE PROGRAM’ that focuses more on wellness and healthy lifestyle with our therapists or skilled-certified personal trainers. *PERIOD – 10-12 sessions *ENCOUNTER – new case/diagnosis *INDEPENDENT – individuals who are medically stable and/or on modified level of independence requiring adaptive/assistive devices or care providers assistance/set-up to stay at home.

For personal training clients, we have no limits. Sessions will be based on your goals and priorities. Example 1: a seasoned body builder/physique competitor would require 26-28 weeks to prepare for a show with the program changing constantly up to the day of the contest. Example 2: Pre-wedding photo shoots – who would not want to look their best at this hopefully once in a life time moment of their existence? You already invested on a good photographer, make-up artist and couturier, why not showcase a hard earned physique that you deserve to be proud of? ‘Photoshop’ is one thing, but ‘au naturel’ makes a statement. Give it a good 3-6 months and we can prepare you for a pre-wedding photo shoot by the beach. Example 3: the most important part of it all – you just want to be healthy, the goal of the majority. To tell you the truth, stressing it as clearly as possible, KILOS DAVAO is all about this in the first place. Who would not want to look good aesthetically? For us, aesthetic progress is just a bonus of maintaining a healthy lifestyle in the first place. A finally stable blood cholesterol level, well controlled blood pressure, good cardiopulmonary function, etc. is something better to look forward to. With this thought in mind, we will be conservative and consistent with regards to monitoring your lifestyle (nutrition, activities, habits), we may both fail at one point or progress depending on your will, but consistency, eagerness, being open to growth, resilience and proper guidance will eventually bring you to your goals. We suggest long term slow-progressive and flexible goals for this to allow change, duration may vary.
