ELDERLY/PWD HOME EXERCISES PROGRAM: DAY THIRTY SEVEN-NECK
-Be sure to squeeze your shoulders/deltoids towards your ears the whole time. It happens when you twist your arms inwards that your palms are facing out.
-Be sure to squeeze your shoulder blades/scapulas with each other the whole time.
-This routine targets the base of your neck/upper trapezius muscles, engage them the whole time.
We suggest guidance and assistance from family members and caregivers for clarity and safety.
Home exercises are muscle group specific on each upload to allow recovery of other areas. Key is to choose 3-5 exercises at random for a specific muscle group and perform them to tolerance level as to sets, repetitions and pauses. Be mindful of the form, stabilization and make sure to engage the muscle you are working on.
