HIGH GEAR MONDAY

Today marks the last 4 weeks of my training for the #wnbfphilippines 2019, despite the restrictions in diet, training protocols and what not, I feel like a winner already knowing that at this point, I reached a level not a lot of people would consider. I like how adaptable our brains are when it comes to cases like this. I never thought I would be able to last a week not craving for my favorite meals or quitting the entire thing highly frustrated, there’s this point though just before you reach the edge of giving up, where you will be given a tiny chance to grip that ‘climbing hold’ for hope and redemption, and from there on, it’s not smooth sailing but good enough that you’ll survive and adapt. It applies to every struggle we experience in life as we try to work on a goal, may it be in career, personal level, anything. Winners are just the ones who managed to never give up but adapt.

Before 4:30am, I woke up ahead of my alarm, aware and more determined to finish this race I started strong, without regrets if I were to win or loose because knowing that from the experience alone, I learned and acquired a higher level of adaptation.
