ONE OF THOSE DAYS AGAIN

Dark clouds surrounded my head as I got out of the bed this morning, another unexpected visitor I knew would definitely mess up my day. It felt so heavy that getting out of the bed was a struggle, closing in on me like a quick sand. I felt scared. Despite that, I mustered all the energy that is left in my body to get up, to face my daemon yet again before it occupies me completely. Not the best weather outside, drizzling but I ran anyway, legs felt heavy all throughout and I was hurting inside and out. The sweat and the morning sun that almost did not show up helped me recover today, I survived it this time. I would pay a premium for a sweat and sun pill that I could take anytime I need to. I got to prepare and eat breakfast with my boy and drove him to school. I got another chance to embrace and kiss my daughter good bye before going to work. Lastly, I got to be an integral part of the society again, felt needed and in some way important to feed my ego enough to have a reason to live another day. I hope that people suffering from the same issue would treat it the same way I do and try not to give up on themselves and on life.
