Cable Crossover Flyes (inclined): This exercise variation aims to improve the lower middle portion of the pectorals. First, set the cable handles at the level of your chest. Next, position the bench into incline, low enough that when you bring your hands forward-center as you perform the flyes, the tension would focus on the lower portion of the pectorals. Be deliberate with the concentric phase, cross over at the forearms, stay there for a good isometric contraction, then slowly go back to the starting position. Remember to keep the torso tight, chest out, and the scapula squeezed on to each other all throughout.
